- Cap’n Crunch cereal
What else do you need?
Q: What’s this site about?
A: For now, I’m writing a retro Web 2.0-style blog. The articles will be non-fiction, at least at first, but there may be fiction later, too. The most prominent theme will be political bullying. Some articles have versions in more than one language; these are linked to each other but are not necessarily exact translations.
Q: Why not just post on social media like normal people?
A: My list of things I hate should have included social media and other Big Tech companies. I don’t trust them and deleted my Facebook account in 2018 and my Twitter account in 2021 or 22 (before Musk took it over). That is not to say I’ll never come back, but I’m in no hurry. It’s also not to say you’ll never find me on any social media websites, but they aren’t my thing.
Q: So if I like what you write, may I share it on social media?
A: Yes, you have my blessing and thanks to share my writing any way you wish, especially if you include a link to my website and stay within US copyright law.
Q: And if I don’t like what you write?
A: I heartily welcome constructive criticism, and of course, you can do what you want on social media or anywhere else as long as you stay within the law and relevant policies. But if you intend to be mean, dishonest, or violent, you should first bear in mind the MAGA Curse: You will be–and may already have been–judged as not MAGA enough. And the more successful MAGA becomes, the more dire the curse’s consequences can become.
Q: What about copyright?
A: Unless otherwise noted, all content should be understood to be copyrighted by me and should be re-published only with my written permission. AI bots such as Chat-GPT and other web-scraping systems are expressly forbidden to use my writing for training or any other purpose.
